Haven't heard of us?  We're new to the Boer business and excited to be here.  What we aren't  new to is breeding a superior meat animal.  Tim is from a long line of pork producers and Misty's dad raises Angus...so you could say raising meat is in our blood! 

Our goat story started a couple years ago when we took some Nubians off the hands of an elderly man who could no longer manage his hobby farm.  We immediately knew we were destined to be goat farmers!  We read everything about goats that we could get our hands on, and we talked "goat" to anyone that would listen!  After much research and many conversations, we decided Boers were for us, and we dove headfirst into the biz!  We have traveled across many states to assemble our starter herd of all fullblood Boers.  After all, how better for us to learn the Boer breed from top to bottom than to surround ourselves with 100% Boer! 

We are concentrating on breeding a superior Boer goat.  Down the road, we will probably expand and take what we know about the Boer breed to develop a commercial herd with the Boer breed as the primarily influence.  We look forward to that endeavor, but for now....

We breed to strengthen the attributes truly  important to the boer breed...fast muscle (meat) mass, hardiness, fertility, and mothering ability, and we have lots of fun with color along the way!  We also place importance on temperment and personality here.  Your job as an exhibitor or commerical producer will be easier with one of our socialized, manageable goats, which in turn will make you more successful.  Our success is in your success!
